KRALJEVO, SERBIA – Noble Environmental Europe AG, a subsidiary of Noble Environmental Technologies Corporation (NET), based in Zug, Switzerland, will break ground on the company’s first European manufacturing plant on April 17, 2013. The plant will be located in Jagodina at KP 2413/58 KO Kocino Selo, Kraljevo, Serbia. The new production facility, designed by American and Serbian architects, will produce up to 100 million square feet per year of the company’s ECOR® panels. ECOR products offer recyclable, non-toxic, 100% recycled content, 100% bio-based and reusable alternatives to plastic, aluminum, wood, particleboard, plywood and other materials.
“The time has quickly come for us to greatly expand our manufacturing capabilities,” said Robert Noble, NET Founder and CEO. “We are pleased to be working with top-tier Serbian professionals and representatives of government to make this vision a reality in Kraljevo. We believe that this new ECOR manufacturing plant will bring sustainable growth and opportunity to Kraljevo, Serbia and Europe.”
“The beautiful town of Kraljevo, ‘the king’s town’, was selected for the strength of its work force, the region’s industrial potential and the support of the local and regional community,” said Rene Haüsler, Noble Environmental Europe AG, CEO and Co-Founder. “We believe the beginning of new generations of environmentally superior materials and products for Europe will be created here.”
NET contracted Nikolic LLC for the development of a factory that will be energy efficient, environmentally superior, comfortable and still exceed the rigorous specifications and demands of production. The structure of the building is pre-cast concrete and the façade is made of insulated metal panels. ECOR manufacturing processes use no additives, only clean cellulose fiber and pure water, often rain water. Water is reclaimed and reused throughout the entire manufacturing process.
